Frequently asked questions

Brother is working towards a circular economy. By returning your genuine Brother ink, toner and labelling consumables to us we can take responsibility for our own products and remanufacture or recycle them, saving precious resources from going to landfill.

Simply use one of our recycling services to return your ink cartridges to Brother. We have 2 options depending on how many cartridges you have:
1. If you have up to 4 cartridges, request one of our free-post envelopes using our online form. Once full, simply post through a post box or drop off at the post office.
2. Order a free-post bulk box suitable for around 20 cartridges, and drop off at the post office when full.

In case you have not received your recycling envelope or box within the next two weeks from the date you order, please reach out to us at info@brother.lv.

One recycling envelope that you can order from our website will hold around 4 ink cartridges. If you wish, you can email info@brother.lv to request multiple envelopes or choose the recycling option for up to 20 ink cartridges and order a box for returning your cartridges.
Customers from all over Europe recycle their empty printer cartridges with Brother. We use a centralised system, based in The Netherlands, and a pan-European postal network. This means that all of the printer cartridges arrive in one shipment, rather than in individual parcels, which greatly reduces transport emissions.
Yes, there is no need to take your ink cartridge return envelopes into a post office. Simply post through your local post box!
