New mobile label/receipt printers from Brother that work on the go

Shops, restaurants, warehouses, transport and service companies will be typical users of Brother’s new range of small, rugged label/receipt printers. They offer various connection possibilities and are easy to carry around. Printouts can be up to three inches wide.

Think of a printer and you’ll probably think of a large office machine, placed permanently on a table or in a corner where it doesn’t take up valuable space. But printers have come a long way. Brother label/receipt printers are mobile so you can carry them in your bag, and they’re an invaluable, versatile everyday tool for people working in retail, warehousing and service.

Brother’s four new RJ family members are designed to wirelessly print everything from labels and price cards to parking fines and receipts, wherever the user may be. They can also withstand moisture, bumps and knocks.

Two of the new Brother label/receipt printers – the RJ-2035B and RJ-2055WB – can print in widths of two inches, while the RJ-3035B and RJ-3055WB offer broader printouts of three inches.

“We have seen a strong rise in demand for small, mobile receipt and label printers that can be tailored to individual tasks, but are flexible enough to be used in a wide range of sectors. The four new RJ printers suit this growth area perfectly,” explains Henning Elkjær, Nordic Marketing Director & Sales Director (Denmark) for Brother Nordic A/S.

The four new Brother label/receipt printers can print at up to four inches per second (ips), and in high quality (203 dpi). They work with most printer languages, and all four have Bluetooth capability. The RJ-2055WB and RJ-3055WB also have integrated Wi-Fi.

They come with a shoulder strap, a belt clip and a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. An in-car adapter is also available as an optional extra for employees who work on the road: in service, distribution, delivery, or issuing fines for unlawful parking, for instance.

In addition the new Brother RJ label/receipt printers are IP54 rated for dust and moisture exposure, and are drop-safe from 2.5 metres. Please note that the drop protection rating requires a special shock-absorbing bag, which is available as an accessory.
