Brother receives gold rating from Tech-Test

Brother’s new DCP-J785DW all-in-one inkjet printer recently received a gold rating from the editorial team of Tech-Test, who tests and reviews various kinds of consumer electronics, it and gadgets.

They write:

”Excellent multi-functional printer from Brother. A small compact inkjet printer that scans, copies and prints in high quality, and is wonderfully quiet. We found our new favorite printer – well done, Brother.”

DCP-J785DW is an enhancement of the well-known Brother all-in-one printers, but it uses larger cartridges. They contain more ink and can print up to 2,400 pages in black and white or 1,200 pages in colour*, before you need to change the cartridge. That equals regular use in up to two years for an average family.

This compact all-in-one printer can print, scan and copy in colour. It targets the very cost-conscious users that prints many pages. Print speed is up to 12 ipm per minute in black and white and 10 ipm per minute in colour. It is able to print close to the edge accommodating print of photos, and you can print on both sides of the paper (duplex) to reduce cost further. It has wireless Wi-Fi, smart Brother Apps for scan and copy – and you can scan to and print directly from smartphones and tablets as well as Cloud services such as Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive® or Google Drive™.

Tech-Test conclude:

”DCP-J785DW has managed to impress us – not something that printers often do. But when a printer can deliver beautiful and fast print, take up little space at the desk and be nice and quiet, well, it is bound to impress.”
