Brother Label Printer for Wireless Network 02 juuli 2014 23 okt 2017 Now, all employees can share the office's convenient label printer. It's called the Brother PT-P750W and works with both PC, Mac, tablets and smartphones via a wireless Wi-Fi network or NFC. The new Brother model is three times faster than conventional label printers. Brother is one of the world's largest manufacturers of electronic labelling machines available in versions for both professional users in companies and the public sector – and for home use. Everybody needs self-adhesive labels. For identification of boxes, folders, office equipment and cables or name tags on children's clothes and bags. Brother's position in the market means that the Japanese manufacturer is always at the forefront of the latest technologies and user-friendly features that are quickly integrated in Brother's popular label printers. This especially applies to Brother PT-P750W, which is the latest addition to the popular Brother P-touch family. With its elegant design, the PT-P750W resembles the successful Brother PT-P700 model which has been on the market since February. The two label printers are actually quite alike – the big difference being that the new PT-P750W comes with a number of wireless features which the PT-P700 doesn't have. Brother PT-P750W enables all employees to share the fast and convenient label printer via a wireless Wi-Fi network. It works with Windows PCs, Apple Macs, smartphones and tablets. The latter two need Brother's free iPrint&Label app which runs on both iOS, Android and Windows Mobile. From your mobile phones and tablets you can either print labels over the wireless network, or you can keep your smartphone close to the label printer and let Near Field Communication (NFC) technology transfer the data wirelessly to Brother's new PT-P750W. Many practical details The new Brother label printer comes with built-in software, so you don't have to wait for the programs to be downloaded on e.g. a PC. Instead, you can start designing and printing labels immediately. For additional types of fonts, importing logos and photos or for using barcodes, you can download the free P-touch Editor 5.1 software. The PT-P750W handily equipped with an automatic knife with a special half-cut function. It cuts the label only halfway through, so it's easy to separate the backing paper from the adhesive label. Included in the software package you will find several label templates and database support, too. Thus, data for the labels can be imported directly from e.g. Excel. Alternatively, the user can download the latest fonts and label designs from the "cloud" – from a Brother server on the internet. Brother tape for all purposes Brother P-touch laminated TZe tapes consist of six layers of materials, resulting in a thin and extremely strong label. Characters are formed with thermal transfer and sandwiched between two protective layers of PET (polyester film). The result is a virtually indestructible label that withstands liquids, abrasion, extreme temperatures, chemicals, and sunlight. In addition to Brother's TZe tapes that are available in many different colours and widths from 3.5 to 24 mm, the new PT-P750W labelling printer works with Brother's special heat shrink tube.
