Electrician’s model with Wi-Fi makes labelling easier

Brother’s largest and most advanced handheld label printer on the market, the P-touch E550WVP, is currently available at a special price. The machine is specially designed for professionals and has built-in Wi-Fi, so it works with both smartphones, tablets and PCs, regardless of where you are, when you use it. The price is now DKK 899 ex VAT – which is 40% below normal price.

P-touch E550WVP is a hefty handheld machine in a rugged design that can handle the busy working days on the go. It has a large graphic display and a cutter with half-cut function, which makes it ideal for everyday work with labelling cables, electrical panels and other items that require clear identification.

Brother offers many different types of tape for label use covering virtually all requirements and needs. For example, P-touch E550WVP prints in widths from 3 to 24mm, which complies with the ANS/EIA/TIA-606A/B and UL-969 standards.

The printer can be connected to a PC via USB cable, but the major advantage lies in the built-in Wi-Fi network, enabling you to print your labels wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet via Brother’s free iPrint&Label-app.

Two apps that simplify work

Brother has also developed two free apps especially for professionals: Mobile Transfer Express and Mobile Cable Label Tool. The latter is primarily intended for electricians and fitters, who need to print durable labels for telecom, data and electrical installations, and it makes it easy to print e.g. your own labels with a company logo. The app provides access to a large library of electrical symbols and the latest new design templates, which Brother stores online in the Cloud. From here, they can be downloaded quickly and easily via wireless internet.

Mobile Transfer Express gives access to transferring label templates databases and images from the Cloud or an email attachment.

iPrint&Label, Mobile Cable Label Tool and Mobile Transfer Express are available for both Android and Apples iOS operating systems and can be downloaded free of charge from Apple’s App Store and Google Play.

Tapes for all applications

Brother’s standard tapes are the laminated P-touch TZe types. Text, symbols and logos are sandwiched between two protective layers of PET (polyester film). The result is a virtually indestructible label that can withstand liquids, extreme temperatures, chemicals and sunlight.

Furthermore, Brother has different types of special tape such as heat shrink tube, extra strength adhesive tape, flexible tape, security tape and fluorescent tape.

The PT-E550WVP is available now with 40% discount at Brother’s many dealers across the country. Buy it for only DKK 899 ex VAT (DKK 1,124 incl. VAT). Normal price is DKK 1,499 ex VAT (DKK 1,874 incl. VAT). Two tape cassettes are included in the price.
